Chelsea Under-19s return to UEFA Youth League action tomorrow afternoon when we host PSV Eindhoven at Cobham in the round of 32. Here are some of our favourite images from today’s final training session as preparations were completed for that knockout clash.
The Blues progressed to the knockout rounds with an impressive league-phase campaign, finishing top of the table with an unbeaten record and five wins from six matches. Next up in the Youth League is the visit of PSV to Cobham, and supporters can watch the match live for free on the Chelsea Official App and website.
Our European journey began with a strong away victory over Bayern Munich, before back-to-back home wins at Cobham against Benfica and Ajax showcased the attacking quality within the squad. Further success followed on the road with a win against Qarabag, while a hard-fought draw away to Barcelona ensured qualification with a game to spare. Chelsea signed off the league phase in style, recording a convincing 3-1 victory over Atalanta.
Tomorrow’s fixture will see Harry Hudson take charge of the Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League for the first time, as he leads Chelsea into a 5pm kick-off against the Dutch side.
