The dates have been confirmed for our group stage fixtures in the Under-18 Premier League Cup, which begin with a trip to Blackburn Rovers later this month.

Ed Brand’s side have made a 100 per cent winning start to their league campaign and will be looking for a similar opening in the cup competition they won in 2018, with Brand as assistant to Jody Morris.

The young Blues head to Lancashire on Saturday 28 September to take on Blackburn, before hosting Wolves at Cobham on Wednesday 30 October. Our final group game is a London derby at home to Arsenal on Saturday 23 November. All six group winners plus the two best runners-up advance to the quarter-finals.

Brand’s boys have beaten Arsenal, West Ham, Southampton and Aston Villa in August. Their next outing is away at Brighton this weekend, with the Seagulls also having won their opening four games of the season.

Before then, our development squad are in action at Stamford Bridge this Friday 13 September. Brighton are again the opposition for Andy Myers’s side, who currently sit top of the early Premier League 2 standings.

Kick-off is at 7pm and supporters can attend for just £5 for adults, while juniors (under-20s) and seniors (65 or over) can purchase a ticket free of charge.
