The fate of the Under-18 Premier League South title remains firmly in Chelsea's hands ahead of tomorrow's visit from Leicester City, which will be shown exclusively live on the Official Chelsea App.

Hassan Sulaiman's side are top of the table and hold a two-point lead over second-place West Ham United. The Blues also have two games in hand over the Hammers, who are not in action this weekend.

Victory for Chelsea would extend their lead to five points. However, given West Ham still have two fixtures to play, the regional title – and a place in the national final against Manchester United – would not yet be sealed.

Leicester present the Blues with a familiar challenge; the sides have faced off three times already this season. Sulaiman is aware of the threat the Foxes pose and doesn't not expect an easy game, which kicks off at 12pm and will be shown live on the Official Chelsea App.

'We want a strong game from the boys,' he says. 'We want to win the game but also perform as well as we know we can.

'We still have good momentum, so I have no doubt that we will perform well. It'll still be a tough game, we know that because we've played Leicester three times already this season.

'In the Youth Cup, we won. In the league, we drew. And in the U-18 PL cup, we lost 2-1 but finished with ten men [Donnell McNeilly was sent off]. We've had some tough games against them.

'All three have been very different so I'm actually really excited to see how we adapt to the challenge. Naturally, I'm hoping we have a strong performance and we show what we're about.

'It's two good teams going against each other so it will be a very good game.'

Only three matches remain following the Leicester clash, although that does not include the national final should the Blues qualify.

Sulaiman wants the high standards we've displayed throughout the campaign to be maintained and believes dealing with challenging moments will only aid the development of the players.

He says: 'We're coming to the latter stages of the season and the ability to be emotionally balanced and be psychologically ready is what these last few games will test.

'We had a challenge in the last game against Fulham with Kai [Crampton], our goalkeeper, going off injured and other psychological challenges will come up before the end of the season. The boys just have to persevere.

'Perseverance is such an important skill and it's going to be big for us from now until the end of the season.'

Our young Blues have scored 15 times in their previous five matches and that clinical edge in front of goal is something that Sulaiman wants to see repeated.

'The team has been full of goals recently,' he adds. 'But that is no different to how it has been throughout the season really. To keep that up would be a good testament to the work on the training pitch that is going on.'
