Hassan Sulaiman's boys will be looking to extend their recent winning streak against West Bromwich Albion at Cobham this afternoon. The game kicks off at noon and will be live streamed across our digital platforms.

Our under-18s currently sit fifth in the Under-18 Premier League southern section and are on a good run of form.

Their last three games have seen them score 12 goals and concede only three. As the season draws to a close this month for Sulaiman and his team, he provided his thoughts on how he has settled into his new role as Under-18s head coach and what is he looking for from his team from now until the end of the season.

'Taking over a team during the middle of a season is something that I have never experienced but over this short period, I have learnt that it is important to familiarise yourself with the working process as quickly as possible.

'I have really enjoyed my time so far in the position of head coach. The youth team staff have been extremely supportive. The coaches had already been doing some great work, so it was just a case of adding to the work that they were already doing.'

When discussing his team's run of form, Sulaiman emphasised the importance of chemistry and togetherness within the camp.

'I base a huge amount of emphasis on togetherness and self-awareness,' he said. 'These have probably been the strongest messages that I have tried to implement within the group. Relationships are a big part of who I am as a person, so naturally, I want to see an environment where players and staff can connect openly and respectfully.'

After today's match, our young Blues will have three matches left to play and despite the title being out of reach, Sulaiman wants a strong end to the season.

'We have challenged the boys to finish the season strongly. That means being physically dominant in every game. We believe that if we can do that, it will set us up nicely for the new season.'
