Ato Ampah's hat-trick alongside goals from Tyrique George and Harrison Murray-Campbell saw our Under-18s win emphatically away from home against Aston Villa.

Hassan Sulaiman’s boys were looking to make it two wins on the bounce in the league as we faced Aston Villa in our first away trip of the season.

Sulaiman made no changes to the side that dominated at Cobham last week against Crystal Palace, with Harrison Murray-Campbell, Tyrique George and Donnell McNeilly all featuring following cameos with the Under-21s yesterday.

We took the lead early on, starting in the best possible fashion as George raced clear following a fast counter and he finished expertly.

Ampah, who caused problems for the Crystal Palace defence, was doing the same here against Villa and he got himself on the scoresheet with a fierce shot which beat goalkeeper Sam Proctor at his near post.

We were turning on the style and Ampah turned provider as he unselfishly laid the ball off for Murray-Campbell to deliver a great finish into the top corner.

Our pace was proving to be too difficult for the home side to handle and Ampah grabbed his second of the game as he neatly dispatched, despite the angle looking seemingly against him.

McNeilly almost got himself on the scoresheet as Ampah, who was playing fantastically well, found him with a fine through ball but the striker smashed against the post.

Ampah got the hat-trick he deserved as he raced through on goal to supply his third and our fifth of the game.

There was a consolation for the home side as Jack McDowell beat Luke Campbell to a cross as his header found its way into the net.

That was how the game would end as we claimed the victory in emphatic style.
