Chelsea's youth team face Fulham at Cobham on Saturday morning and a number of the squad have also impressed in the Under-17s Premier League Cup where we are through to the knockout stage.

Our Under-18s play their penultimate game of the year as they take on Fulham in a west London derby on Saturday morning. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this game will no longer be live streamed on our platforms.

The good form our Under-18s have shown of recent can be attributed to the chemistry the team have, as a large majority of the squad play together in the Under-17s side managed by Ed Brand too.

That side have made it through to the knockout stage of the PL Cup as group winners. Brand's boys confirmed top spot earlier this week when they drew their final game away from home against Fulham 3-3.

The journey

Our first group game in the competition saw us take on London rivals Arsenal away from home and we were able to comfortably win by three goals to nil. An Arsenal team which featured Ethan Nwaneri who has featured once for their first team were no match for our young Blues.

The scorers in that game Tyrique George, Chinonso Chibueze and Frankie Runham.

In our second fixture, against Leicester City, we cruised to victory beating them 3-0 also. Shumaira Mheuka scored the first goal in this game and Runham and Harrison McMahon added further gloss to the scoreline.

In that final group game that secured first place, a Harrison Murray-Campbell goal and two from Donell McNeilly were crucial to securing a point against the young Cottagers.

Now a number of players who have featured in this competition will be in contention to start for the Under-18s in Saturday’s game against Fulham.
