It is 50 years since Chelsea began the FA Cup campaign which led to us lifting the trophy for the first time.
It is an anniversary commemorated by the special retro Nike kit the players will be wearing on Sunday for this year’s third-round tie and in addition, the nostalgic video above recalls a 1969/70 season filled with iconic moments on and off the pitch: the moon landing, The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park, ‘that’ Osgood header, and the Blues first ever FA Cup triumph!
