Chelsea FC and our official health insurance partner, Vitality, ran a series of Football Festivals on matchdays across the 2018/19 season, culminating in a recent special session with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Designed for children aged between four and 12 years old, the sessions were designed to inspire kids and their families to be more active, taking place on matchdays at both Kingsmeadow and Eel Brook Common, close to Stamford Bridge, offering a variety of entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

These activities including coaching sessions led by Chelsea Foundation coaches, smoothie-making and Q&A panels with Blues legends.

To celebrate the success of the initiative, men’s team stars Kepa and Loftus-Cheek and Vitality recently surprised children at a school near Stamford Bridge to run a special Football Festival, featuring an exclusive Q&A with the players.

Other festivals throughout the season starred a range of ambassadors, including Chelsea legends Katie Chapman and Paulo Ferreira, and even featured a guest appearance from England netball star Natalie Panagarry. Chelsea Women’s players Fran Kirby and Lizzie Durack also joined in the activities at Kingsmeadow.
