There are seven special contenders for our Men’s Goal of the Month prize for December – and you can have your say as to who should claim the honour now!

A hugely busy festive period has come to a close after eight games across the month, with trips to Italy, Wales, Newcastle, Leeds and Bournemouth all packed in.

Although there wasn't too much action for our Academy sides, the Under-21s took part in a contest against PSG, and the Under-18s registered back-to-back victories, including securing our place in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

You can watch all seven shortlisted goals below now, and then remember to submit your vote in the poll exclusively available on the Chelsea Official App!

Cole Palmer v Everton

We begin our shortlist with Cole's first goal since September, with our No. 10 returning from an injury lay-off in style. Malo Gusto, who would go on to score himself later in the game, played a defence-splitting ball towards Palmer, who, with his typical composure, opened the scoring at the Bridge.

Shim Mheuka v PSG Under-21s

Coming in our Premier League International Cup tie with the Parisians, Shim produced a moment of magic to waltz past his markers before sliding the ball into the far corner.

Reggie Walsh v Ipswich Under-18s

Our next entry is a special effort from the talented Walsh, who fired his strike against Town right into the top corner from the edge of the box during our 3-0 victory at Playford Road at the start of the month.

Alejandro Garnacho (second) v Cardiff City

Next up is Garnacho's strike against Cardiff, which helped book our place in the final four of the Carabao Cup. At full stretch and running towards goal, the winger scooped the ball into the opposite corner before wheeling away to celebrate with the travelling Chelsea supporters.

Chizaram Ezenwata v Brentford Under-18s

Helping secure the Blues' place in round four of the FA Youth Cup, Ezenwata lofted the ball over the onrushing Brentford goalkeeper to wrap up the cup tie in Chelsea's favour.

Reece James v Newcastle

Our penultimate entry comes from our skipper and his ridiculous free-kick against Newcastle to help inspire the fightback at St. James' Park. Looping the ball over the wall, Reece's free-kick hit the post and nestled sweetly into the net.

Enzo Fernandez v Bournemouth

The final nomination on our shortlist is from Enzo Fernandez, and it's a delightful strike too. Receiving just inside the box, the midfielder swivelled on the spot before rolling the ball past the onrushing Bournemouth defenders and placing it into the top corner.
