The voting is now open to have your say on which of the nine contenders receives the Chelsea Men’s Goal of the Month award for October.

October saw our men’s team competing across three different competitions – the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Carabao Cup – with some thrilling encounters, memorable victories and outstanding goals.

Meanwhile, our Academy sides were also in action across several tournaments, with our Under-21s, Under-19s and Under-18s all earning nominations on this list.

You can watch all nine of the goals which made our shortlist below and submit your vote for your favourite here on the Chelsea Official App.

Chizaram Ezenwata vs Manchester City Under-18s

Having already netted a penalty, the striker completed his brace to level the scores at 2-2. When the rebound from Ryan Kavuma-McQueen’s powerful shot fell to Ezenwata he remained composed, took a touch to control the ball and expertly fired it into the back of the net.

Moises Caicedo vs Liverpool

The Blues opened the scoring early in the first half through an outstanding Caicedo strike. The Ecuadorian took a touch out of his feet, then two more, and was given the space to unleash a 20-yard drive into the top right-hand corner of Giorgi Mamardashvili's goal.

Estevao Willian vs Liverpool

Estevao’s first Chelsea goal won us this thrilling fixture against the reigning Premier League champions. It arrived in the sixth minute of additional time as Marc Cucurella slid the ball across the six-yard box and there was the Brazilian at the back post to guide the ball home and spark wild scenes of jubilation across Stamford Bridge.

Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli vs Ajax Under-19s

The young midfielder netted the second of six Chelsea goals – and the third of nine overall – in this thrilling 6-3 UEFA Youth League victory. The schoolboy took a perfect first touch on the edge of the box, spun smartly and placed his finish beautifully into the bottom corner to become our youngest scorer in the competition.

Pedro Neto vs Nottingham Forest

Neto had already set up Josh Acheampong for the opening goal when he thumped in a free-kick for our second, en route to a 3-0 away victory. Good skill from Marc Guiu won the free-kick on the edge of the box that Reece James rolled to Neto, whose strike was too hot for Matz Sels to handle.

Reggie Walsh vs Arsenal Under-21s

Walsh, fresh off signing his first professional contract, doubled our advantage after the interval with a composed finish, which ultimately proved to be the winner. Ollie Harrison produced a brilliant long pass to Ato Ampah out wide, and the winger drove forward before teeing up Walsh, who drilled a low strike into the bottom corner.

Tyrique George vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Jamie Gittens was the creator and George the scorer, but it was the flowing, incisive nature of the full team move which earns this goal its nomination. It ended with Gittens driving his way into the box before firing across goal for George to convert from a couple of yards out. It was as pleasing on the eye as it was simple in its execution.

Jamie Gittens vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

A stunning strike which ultimately decided this Carabao Cup tie and ended a potential Wolves fightback. A bouncing ball ran into Gittens’ path and he smashed it into the net, via the inside of the post, from a good 20 yards out.

Alejandro Garnacho vs Sunderland

In a lightning-quick move, a Sunderland attempt to break forward was turned into an opening goal for Chelsea inside the first five minutes. Enzo Fernandez showed great timing of his challenge before Neto took over and slid a lovely pass into Garnacho’s path. A little pause and shimmy to his left to make space, followed by a shot drilled low through the legs of the goalkeeper, and the Argentinian had his first goal for Chelsea.
