Boxing Day is one of the most magical days in the football calendar and Chelsea have scored our fair share of brilliant goals to mark the occasion. The question, though, is which is your favourite?

We have picked out ten special strikes, from Flo to Crespo, Pedro to Palmer, and are asking you to choose your pick of the bunch. Every goal on the shortlist – which we have limited to the Premier League era – has been made into a compilation which you can watch before making your decision in the poll below!

There is then further detail on each strike, too, to help jog your memory. Happy voting!

Tore Andre Flo | Southampton (A) | 1998

The big Norwegian finished off a flowing counter-attack at St Mary’s with a controlled volley from Gianfranco Zola’s delicious dinked pass.

Eidur Gudjohnsen | Charlton (A) | 2003

Gudjohnsen shimmied away from two Addicks defenders before drilling a shot into the bottom corner with the outside of his right boot.

Damien Duff | Aston Villa (H) | 2004

Our two wingers combined to score the only goal of the game during our 2004/05 title-winning campaign, Arjen Robben playing in Duff who cut inside and beat Villa’s keeper at the near post.

Hernan Crespo | Fulham (H) | 2005

Joe Cole’s deep cross was met by Crespo, who showed all his striking prowess to steer a left-footed volley into the ground and then the net, the decider in a 3-2 derby classic.

Andriy Shevchenko | Aston Villa (H) | 2007

This was one of Shevchenko's best goals in a blue shirt, crashed into the top corner from 25 yards out during a Blues comeback in an 4-4 Boxing Day epic.

Alex | Villa (H) | 2007

Later in the same game, Alex found himself in an advanced position, strolled on to Shevchenko’s pass, beat a defender and then the goalkeeper with a powerful low shot.

Juan Mata | Norwich (H) | 2012

Mata took a couple of touches to get the ball out of his feet before whipping a 20-yard shot into the net in typically elegant style.

Diego Costa | West Ham (H) | 2014

During a purring Chelsea performance, Diego Costa put the seal on a 2-0 win after twisting and turning inside three Hammers defenders and then picking out the far corner with a precise finish.

Pedro | Bournemouth (H) | 2016

Neat interplay on the edge of the box was followed by a bending Pedro effort that found the top left-hand corner to kickstart a comfortable 3-0 win.

Cole Palmer | Fulham (H) | 2024

Palmer skipped away from two Fulham defenders before coolly passing the ball through another’s legs and into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
