With Chelsea's first game of October approaching, it is time to have your say on the Blues' best strike of the previous month, with 10 fine goals on our shortlist for you to choose from.
Despite the extended international break which is only now coming to an end, there were still four men’s fixtures in September in addition to our Academy sides' games, and plenty of goals across those teams.
Seven of men's team goals have made our shortlist for the September Chelsea Goal of the Month award, along with two by Cobham Next Gen and one from the Under-18s.
Now it is time for you to pick the winner. You can watch all 10 of the nominees back again to refresh your memory in the video above, before casting your vote for your favourite on the Chelsea Official App, where the winner will be revealed soon.
Morgan Rogers vs Arsenal | Premier League
It was a flying start from the Blues as we opened the scoring inside two minutes. Jorrel Hato kept a Reece James free-kick alive – his header bouncing invitingly towards Rogers on the edge of the area. The England international didn’t need a second invitation, sweeping a first-time shot low and into the bottom corner.
Cole Palmer vs Leeds United | Carabao Cup
Two minutes after reducing our deficit, Palmer levelled the contest at Stamford Bridge. He made it look simple, as Rogers steered a long throw into the path of the Blues' No.10, who expertly guided a 20-yard finish into the corner.
Pedro Neto vs Leeds United | Carabao Cup
Palmer and Rogers were involved again, as the former played a pass through to the latter, who on the slide guided the ball toward Neto. The Portuguese winger ran onto it and measured his shot, which clipped the far post and nestled in the net to give us the lead.
Danny Welbeck vs Leeds United | Carabao Cup
Welbeck got our fourth of the game and this was the first of his two goals against Leeds. He collected a low cross, shifted the ball onto his right foot, evaded two challenges and fired between the goalkeeper’s legs.
Valentin Barco vs Leeds United | Carabao Cup
With 10 minutes remaining, Barco netted his first goal for Chelsea and the Blues’ fifth of the night. Another powerful Rogers run and cross created it, his delivery breaking kindly to the midfielder, who slammed home to seal our progress to the Carabao Cup fifth round.
Reggie Watson vs Arsenal Under-21s | Under-21 Premier League
Having put us ahead late in the first half from the penalty spot, Watson extended Chelsea’s lead in the 72nd minute, with his excellent free-kick clipping the post on its way in.
Morgan Rogers vs Hull City | Premier League
Hull arrived at the Bridge having not conceded this season, but it took Rogers just seven minutes to change that. Palmer collected possession and fed a pass into the feet of Joao Pedro. The Brazilian turned and moved the ball to Rogers, who shifted it onto his left foot and drove a near-post shot beyond Konstantinos Tzolakis.
Joao Pedro vs Hull City | Premier League
Palmer claimed the assist as he drove down the Blues' left flank and crossed low for Joao Pedro. The ball was slightly behind the Brazilian, yet he readjusted expertly and drilled a left-footed finish into the roof of the net.
Jacob Dako vs Bournemouth Under-18s | Under-18 Premier League
Having been caught by a challenge when racing clear on goal – resulting in a Bournemouth red card – Dako dusted himself down and took responsibility for the resulting free-kick, thumping a right-footed effort into the top-left corner, on our way to a 5-0 win.
Harrison Bettoni vs Fulham Under-21s | Under-21 Premier League
Bettoni’s equaliser seven minutes into the second half set us on our way to a comeback victory over our neighbours. Chizaram Ezenwata showed good awareness to feed Watson, who squared the ball for Bettoni to stroke a left-footed finish into the net.
