Sandy Baltimore's strike against Brighton & Hove Albion has been shortlisted for the Women’s Super League Goal of the Month award for December.
The France international broke the deadlock just before half-time at Broadfield Stadium, and the Blues went on to record a 3-0 win over the Seagulls.
Brighton had defended firmly up until Baltimore produced a moment of individual brilliance to set us on the way to victory.
Jinking her way down the left channel, the Chelsea wing-back shifted her weight onto her unfavoured right foot before curling an unstoppable effort into the top corner with perfect power and placement.
