Lauren James vs Manchester United
The England international gave the Blues the lead in the League Cup final at Ashton Gate after seizing on an underhit pass from Dominique Janssen, carrying the ball into the box and firing a clinical finish inside Phallon Tullis-Joyce’s near post.
Aggie Beever-Jones vs Manchester United
Later in the same final, Aggie Beever-Jones contested the initial header from Johanna Rytting Kaneryd’s deep cross and reacted quickest when the ball landed at her feet, poking a finish into the bottom corner and celebrating in front of the massed ranks of travelling Blues fans.
Alyssa Thompson vs Brighton
James played a smart backheel to Sandy Baltimore on the left flank, and the France international teased a cross into the centre of the box, where Alyssa Thompson reacted quickest to power a header into the net.
Lexi Potter vs Brighton
Lexi Potter marked her first WSL start with a first Chelsea goal following more good work from Baltimore down the left, the loose ball eventually landing at the youngster's feet, who finished with aplomb.
Johanna Rytting Kaneryd vs London City Lionesses
Kadeisha Buchanan's long ball was cleverly flicked on by Beever-Jones into the path of Rytting Kaneryd, who raced clear and confidently slotted the ball into the net to give us the lead at The Den.
Lauren James vs Arsenal
In the first leg of our Champions League quarter-final tie against Arsenal, James curled a sensational effort into the top corner from range after collecting a half-cleared corner and going for goal on her supposedly weaker left foot.
Lauren James vs Aston Villa
James was at it again in our next fixture at home to Aston Villa, driving off the right flank before firing an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Sjoeke Nusken vs Aston Villa
A thrilling WSL contest was eventually decided by Nusken late on: the German instinctively whipping a first-time effort into the net at the culmination of a fine Chelsea move.
