Although the month began with a shock home defeat at the hands of Everton, Sonia Bompastor's side responded in style with a 6-0 win over Roma, which – combined with a 2-1 win away at Wolfsburg – saw us finish third in the Women's Champions League table and advance straight through to the quarter-final of the competition.

In the WSL, we bounced back with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, and we completed our fixtures for 2025 with an emphatic 9-1 win over Liverpool that saw us advance to the semi-final of the League Cup.

Bronze got on the scoresheet in our victory over Roma with a fantastic chip and was the Blues' standout performer in our crucial win over Wolfsburg. She netted our first goal of the evening and weighed in with several crucial defensive interventions at the other end of the pitch.

Rytting Kaneryd, meanwhile, contributed with a goal in our big win over Roma at Stamford Bridge and ended the month by scoring her first Chelsea hat-trick in our comprehensive victory over Liverpool in the League Cup.

Wieke Kaptein was also among the goals against Liverpool and Roma as the 20-year-old impressed with her performances throughout the month.

And Sam Kerr continued to pick up form following her long injury layoff, as she scored our second against Wolfsburg and netted a brace in the emphatic win over Liverpool.
