Chelsea have recorded big wins over West Ham and Crystal Palace, and also reached the Women's League Cup final since the start of 2026. With several standout performers to choose from, it's time to vote for your Chelsea Women's Player of the Month for January 2026.
The Blues kicked off 2026 in style with a 5-0 home win over West Ham United in the Women's Super League, as Sandy Baltimore netted a brace and was joined on the scoresheet by Alyssa Thompson and Lauren James.
We then repeated that same scoreline as we faced Crystal Palace at Kingsmeadow in the Women's FA Cup fourth round. Thompson got herself on the scoresheet once more, Sam Kerr weighed in with two goals, and Millie Bright and Guro Reiten netted one each to complete another emphatic win.
Next up came a tough test away at Manchester City in the Women's League Cup semi-final, and we came away with a 1-0 victory thanks to a Wieke Kaptein header and a fine defensive display from the entire side.
The month ended with another clash against high-level opposition, and on this occasion we were defeated 2-0 by Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Baltimore scored with a stunning curling effort and converted a penalty against Crystal Palace, provided the cross for Kaptein's winner against Man City and also made a crucial last-ditch sliding tackle when opponent Khadija Shaw looked certain to score in that game.
Cuthbert has been a crucial part of our success this month, standing out against Man City in particular as she won the ball back on 14 occasions at the Joie Stadium.
Meanwhile, Hampton returned from an injury layoff at the beginning of the month, keeping clean sheets against West Ham and Crystal Palace and made five excellent stops in Manchester as we kept the opposition at bay.
Kerr led the line well against Man City, and contributed to our passage into the Women's FA Cup fifth round as she scored twice against the Eagles.
Thompson is our final candidate for the month after having scored in each of our matches against Crystal Palace and West Ham.
