Chelsea's Carabao Cup journey continues with a trip to Anfield to play Liverpool on Wednesday evening, and the shirt the Blues will be wearing has now been confirmed.
Xabi Alonso's side reached this stage of the competition with victories over Luton Town and Leeds United at Stamford Bridge. The latter was a thrilling 6-3 success after we had trailed 2-0, and next up is a second consecutive away game on Merseyside.
The Blues were victorious at the Hill Dickinson Stadium the weekend before last, defeating Everton 2-0, and we will hope to get back to winning ways against the Reds following the loss to Tottenham on home soil.
We will once again be wearing our home shirt, featuring a refreshed club badge which is interwoven proudly in ‘Bright Blue’ in the fabric on the front of the shirt. There is a collar and a button-down neck, and ‘Midwest Gold’ accents for the rampant lion badge and Nike swoosh which feature on both the jersey and the shorts.
