The Blues have headed off for a well-deserved Christmas break after ending the first half of the campaign on a high note with an emphatic 9-1 win over Liverpool. But where will they be spending the festive season?

Chelsea have completed a total of 18 matches at home and abroad since the 2025/26 campaign began with a 2-1 win over Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on 5 September.

With the big day now almost upon us, Sonia Bompastor and her players give us some exclusive insight into where they will be spending Christmas this year...

Sonia Bompastor

In the past, we've always gone to visit friends and family, which means a lot of travelling.
So, in the last two or three years, we changed a little bit and decided to focus a bit more on our own family.

Recently, we've been going skiing for one week during the winter break. But this Christmas, we decided to go somewhere in the sun, just to enjoy some relaxing time.
We love being around our family and taking time to enjoy that moment together.

Lucy Bronze

I will be with all the Bronzes! I'm very lucky to have a little niece and nephew, so Christmas Day is spent figuring out all their new toys and eating lots of food together.

Wieke Kaptein

With my family and friends!

Millie Bright

I will be spending Christmas back home this year with my family. Back in Sheffield, on the farm. My favourite place to be with the best people.

Sandy Baltimore

I will be with my family!

Aggie Beever-Jones

I'll be spending Christmas with my family at home, with good people and good food!

Hannah Hampton

I want to go to as many Christmas markets as possible and go through my hot chocolate list of London, because if you can't have a hot chocolate in the winter season, when can you?! My favourite thing to do around Christmas time is to do a nice little walk and see all the lights around London.

Alyssa Thompson

I'm going to be with my family in the warmth of LA!

Lauren James

I'll be at home with family.

Guro Reiten

I'm going to be with my partner's family for Christmas, and then maybe to Oslo to see my family, or they might come to us. We haven't planned everything yet, but we're going to spend time with family for sure.

Sjoeke Nusken

I'll be at home, of course. Always with my family, my parents and all three of my sisters.
