Kirby marked her final Chelsea appearance in style by scoring the sixth goal in a title-clinching win, taking her career total to 116 goals – the record for Chelsea Women in the modern era.
She has been a key figure in the squad that has swept up multiple league titles and knockout competition trophies.
Thiago Silva was also on the winning side on his final outing in Blue against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
And following the final whistle, he was given one of the great, emotional send-offs by the packed crowd, who remained in their places to acclaim a Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup winner, and one of the greatest defenders of all-time.
