Chelsea recorded an emphatic 6-0 victory against Charlton in the Women's Super League on Sunday afternoon, and Blues fans have voted for their standout performer.

Sonia Bompastor's side raced to a rapid start at The Valley, scoring four times in the opening 19 minutes of the match against the Addicks, with Nathalie Bjorn and Ellie Carpenter on the scoresheet, while Melvine Malard also added a quick-fire brace to take her tally to eight for the campaign.

After that initial flurry, a second-half strike from Aggie Beever-Jones and a maiden Chelsea goal for summer signing Giulia Dragoni in the 66th minute completed the 6-0 rout.

It is Carpenter who has been voted as your Star of the Match on the Chelsea Official App for an excellent all-round display, earning a 51 per cent share of the vote.

Coming in second place with 27 per cent of the votes was Malard, for her two-goal contribution, while Bjorn took third with 12 per cent after scoring her first goal of the season.

Congratulations, Ellie!
