Sonia Bompastor's side travel to Wolfsburg on Wednesday night looking to seal an automatic place in this season's Champions League knockout stage.

With much still to be decided heading into the final round of league phase action, all nine Champions League fixtures will kick off simultaneously on Wednesday evening.

Clubs that finish between first and fourth position will automatically qualify for the quarter-final stage. Teams in fifth to 12th spot at the end of the evening will enter the knockout phase play-offs to decide the final four available places.

Chelsea have already secured a place in the play-offs, but a win against Wolfsburg would secure us a guaranteed quarter-final berth.

Here's how you can follow all of the action...

When and where

We take on Wolfsburg at the AOK Stadion in Germany on Wednesday 17 December at 8pm UK time.

How to watch

The match will be shown live in the UK on Disney+.

As always, you can follow minute-by-minute updates in our Wolfsburg vs Chelsea Match Centre on the Chelsea Official App and website. You can also follow through Chelsea Women’s social media channels on X, Facebook and Instagram.

The form

Chelsea are currently third in the league phase table following our 6-0 win over Roma at Stamford Bridge last week.

The Blues have earned 11 points after recording three wins and two draws. We are one point ahead of Juventus and Real Madrid in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Wolfsburg are seventh with nine points from their five games and have also already guaranteed a place in the play-offs. The German side could secure an automatic qualification spot with a win, but would also need results to go against Juventus and Real Madrid to be successful.

Recent head-to-head

Chelsea and Wolfsburg meet for the 11th time in this competition. The Blues have won two and lost six of the past 10 meetings. However, our last game against the German side was in 2021.

Wolfsburg won five of the first six meetings (with one draw) and eliminated the Blues in the knockout stages in three successive seasons from 2015/16 to 2017/18.
