Our game away to Reading in the Women’s Super League this Saturday has been selected for live television coverage as the title race is set to be decided.

The Blues travel to the Select Car Leasing Stadium this Saturday (27 May) with kick-off scheduled for 2.30pm (UK time) and the match will now be broadcast live on Sky Sports as both the title and relegation go down to the wire.

Emma Hayes’ side overcame Arsenal 2-0 in our final home game of the season on Sunday. Goals from Guro Reiten and our departing skipper Magdalena Eriksson took us five points clear at the summit before Manchester United’s game against Manchester City that evening.

We came within minutes of being crowned champions with the scores level between the two Manchester clubs going into stoppage time, when United grabbed a late winner to take the title race down to the final weekend.

Marc Skinner’s side travel to Liverpool on the final day but with the focus firmly on what we can control, a victory for the Blues against Reading will see us retain our crown and secure an unprecedented fourth consecutive WSL title.
