Kurt Zouma speaks exclusively in the matchday programme for our Champions League game against Krasnodar next Tuesday, and you can order your copy now.
Zouma has enjoyed a solid season so far at the heart of our defence and has also popped up with a few goals too. He spoke to us about the importance of communication and his relationship with new boys Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva.
'Thiago is a very good player,' he explains. 'He’s very calm, he’s very experienced, he never gets stressed, his positioning is very good and he’s very, very clever without the ball, and with the ball too, even if he gets it when there’s pressure.
'He’s won many, many trophies in France, he’s been playing in the Champions League, so he brings experience to the team. He’s very fit, he’s inspirational to all the others. He is taking care of his body and hopefully he can play even longer.
'Edouard is a very nice guy and he has good English already – I don’t where he practised that, but he’s got it! I don’t even have to translate things for him now, but on the pitch we can speak both English and French.
'I try to help him but you can see he has settled here very well already, everyone likes him, and he’s doing a good job at the minute, so I’m very happy for him.'
You can also read Frank Lampard and Cesar Azpilicueta’s thoughts ahead of our final group stage fixture, and find out what goes on behind the scenes in our interview with assistant coach Chris Jones.
As ever, you’ll get the latest updates directly from the coaches of our other teams, as Jon Harley, Ed Brand and Emma Hayes give you the news from the development squad, Under-18s and Women’s teams respectively.
Then there’s a good dose of Bridge history for the nostalgics among you, as Rick Glanvill continues his story of Stamford Bridge and Wayne Bridge looks back on our remarkable Champions League run in 2003/04, including that win over Arsenal at Highbury.
