Dion Rankine has been with us for three years after signing from Cambridge United as an Under-14.

An adventurous and pacey wide player who can operate on the left or right, he scored his first goal of the 2019/20 seaon in the Under-18s Premier League Cup against Blackburn Rovers before signing his first professional deal later in October 2019.

Deployed as a wing-back for large parts of the 2019/20 season Rankine enjoyed getting up and down the wing and made his Youth Cup debut in the 5-0 win over Bradford in January. In total the winger made 23 outings and scored four goals for our Academy teams.
