Bekanty Victorien Angban signed for Chelsea in January 2015 from Stade d’Abidjan FC, before in July 2015 the then 18-year-old moved on loan to Belgian club Sint-Truidense for the 2015/16 season.

The Ivorian central midfielder is capable of operating as a playmaker or a box-to-box player. He represented Ivory Coast and scored at the 2015 African Under-20 Championship finals before progressing to become a full international.

For Sint-Truidense who were freshly promoted to the Belgian top division for 2015/16, Angban played 23 games.

He spent the 2016/17 season at Granada in Spain, alongside another Chelsea loanee Jeremie Boga. In the first half of the campaign Angban made six appearances before the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon where he was in the Ivory Coast squad but remained an unused substitute. He ended the season having played 11 times for Granada, nine of which were starts.

Angban played 31 times on loan at Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian top flight in 2017/18, scoring once. 

In July 2018, he signed a one-year contract extension and joined Metz of Ligue 2 on a season-long loan.
