Chelsea's Secret Santa!
Guest fan blog Fri 22 Dec 2017
It’s that time of year when you’re forced to buy a Secret Santa present for someone at work, where you rack your brains trying to think of something decent to buy them before the Christmas party deadline. But what if you had to buy for one of the Chelsea players? Here are some of my suggestions. It’s not as easy as it first seems…
Hazard – Reinforced Shin Pads
Eden Hazard was again the most fouled player in the Premier League last season, and has been since 2014. His intricate footwork and passing causes so many problems for defences, the only way they can stop him is to hack him down. I would buy Hazard extra reinforced shin pads to protect his legs – something along the lines of what Iron Man would wear if he played football!
Alvaro Morata – Baby Name Book
Alvaro Morata announced on Instagram last week that his wife Alice is pregnant with their first child. I think a baby name book would come in useful in the upcoming months. Congratulations Alvaro and Alice!
Cesc Fabregas – Woolly Hat
We all know that Fabregas has a magic hat, but in this weather, he may need something a little warmer. I would get him a thick woolly hat to wear when he’s not got his magic one on.
Tiémoué Bakayoko – Hair Dye
Since the start of the season Tiémoué Bakayoko has already had blonde and blue hair. I would buy him a range of hair dyes so he can experiment with some new colours. They would, of course, not be permanent, so he can always wash them out if he changes his mind.
Ethan Ampadu – Tangle Teaser
Ethan is known for his characteristic dreadlocks, but I can’t help but think they must get a little knotted from time to time. I would buy him a ‘Tangle Teezer’, which for those of you who don’t know, is a specialised detangling hairbrush that can deal with even the worst knots.
Michy Batshuayi – Spongebob Squarepants Pop! Figure
You only have to quickly flick through Michy Batshuayi’s social media accounts to see that he is a huge Spongebob fan. I would buy him a Pop! Figure to add to his ever-expanding collection.
