Following the passing of our legendary former player, Bobby Tambling, Chelsea Football Club is inviting fans to record their own messages and memories of one of our greatest goalscorers.
Tambling, who passed away at the age of 84, held our all-time goalscoring record for 45 years. He netted 202 times for the Blues before being surpassed in 2013 by Frank Lampard, with whom he struck a friendship.
He was also part of a fashionable and exciting Chelsea team, a significant proportion of whom were honed in our youth ranks before making a decisive impact in the senior side.
Tambling was also a cup winner with Chelsea, helping us to our first knockout trophy triumph, the League Cup in 1965.
An online book of condolence has opened for fans to leave their tributes and memories of a Chelsea great.
