In our round-up of September’s action for those Chelsea players out on loan, there is news of several debuts and strikers among the goals…

David Fofana – Fatih Karagumruk

David Fofana’s time in Turkey has got off to a flyer, with the striker netting three goals in just 46 minutes of action for Karagumruk. He made his debut off the bench at Samsunspor and marked the occasion with a goal, the equaliser in an eventual 3-2 loss. The Ivorian then netted an injury-time brace in a 4-3 reverse to Trabzonspor having being introduced with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan – Peterborough United

It’s been a blistering start to life in League One for Jimmy-Jay Morgan, who scored a goal in each of his first three appearances in the competition. Two – close-range finishes at home to Wycombe and away to Plymouth – proved to be the winners in Posh’s only league successes so far this term. He then netted in an EFL Trophy victory over Aston Villa Under-21s.

Leo Castledine – Huddersfield Town

Leo Castledine continues to impress for Huddersfield and scored the winner against Exeter on Saturday with a stunning strike from the edge of the box. Earlier in September he registered an assist in the 3-2 success over Peterborough with the Terriers currently lying in fifth place in League One.

Teddy Sharman-Lowe – Bolton Wanderers

Elsewhere in England’s third tier, Teddy Sharman-Lowe has remained ever-present between the posts for Bolton, with the Trotters securing big home wins against AFC Wimbledon and Wigan this month. Sharman-Lowe saved a penalty from Northampton’s Sam Hoskins on Saturday but was unable to prevent him converting the rebound.

Omari Kellyman – Cardiff City

Omari Kellyman featured for Cardiff in three different competitions in September. He came off the bench to help them beat Burnley in the Carabao Cup third round and Exeter City in the EFL Trophy, making his league debut against Bradford between those cup successes.

Brodi Hughes – AFC Wimbledon

Brodi Hughes played both of AFC Wimbledon’s EFL Trophy matches in September, ending in a win and a loss, but is yet to feature in the league.

Ishe Samuels-Smith – Swansea City

Ishe Samuels-Smith made his Swansea debut in their dramatic Carabao Cup third round victory against Nottingham Forest, playing just over an hour in the 3-2 success. Swansea host Manchester City in the last 16.

Caleb Wiley - Watford

Caleb Wiley has returned from injury to come off the bench in each of Watford’s past two games, a 1-0 defeat at Millwall and a 2-1 home success against Hull City in the Championship.

Ronnie Stutter - Barnet

The 20-year-old striker made his Barnet debut off the bench in their commanding 3-0 home victory over Grimsby Town.

Mike Penders, Mamadou Sarr and Kendry Paez – Strasbourg

Our trio on loan at Strasbourg all featured in their three Ligue 1 matches in September. Mike Penders kept a clean sheet against Le Havre, Kendry Paez netted his first goal for the club in the 3-2 win at Paris FC, and Mamadou Sarr skippered the team twice. Racing are fifth in Ligue 1 and get their Conference League campaign underway away to Slovan Bratislava.

Kiano Dyer – Volendam

Kiano Dyer played his first games for Volendam in September, introduced off the bench late on in their Eredivisie defeats to Go Ahead Eagles and Excelsior.

Nicolas Jackson – Bayern Munich

Having come off the bench twice, including against Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson made his full debut for Bayern in their 4-1 win at Hoffenheim. On the final day of the month, he opened his Bayern account with a goal in their 5-1 win away to Pafos in the Champions League.
