A summer with a difference awaits Chelsea as the Club World Cup takes centre stage. It's one of several events to look out for over the coming months...
Summer transfer window
A mini transfer window ahead of the Club World Cup is open from June 1 to June 10 to ensure teams can complete their planned signings ahead of the competition.
The summer 2024 Premier League transfer window will then reopen on Monday 16 June and run until Monday 1 September at 7pm.
That will also be the deadline for all clubs in the Football League, as well as the German, French, Spanish and Italian top flights.
The Women's Super League summer transfer window begins on Wednesday 18 June and runs through to Tuesday 13 September.
FIFA Club World Cup 2025
FIFA's revamped global tournament begins on Saturday 14 June and runs until the final on Sunday 13 July.
Chelsea's group stage campaign starts on Monday 16 June with a game against Los Angeles FC in Atlanta. We then play Flamengo on Friday 20 June in Philadelphia, before meeting ES Tunis at the same venue on Tuesday 24 June (2am on Wednesday 25 June in the UK).
Should we advance as one on the top two teams in Group D, we will play a Round of 16 tie on June 28 or June 29. The quarters are on 4/5 July, and the semis on 8/9 July.
Match tickets for the tournament can be purchased directly via the FIFA website. You can also watch all of the tournament’s 63 matches for free on DAZN - Sign up to DAZN today.
Premier League fixtures
All of the 2025/26 Premier League fixtures will be revealed at 9am on Tuesday 18 June, with the official Chelsea website and app bringing you the news.
Euro 2025
There will be plenty of Chelsea involvement in Switzerland this summer when the 2025 European Women's Championship takes place.
The tournament runs from Wednesday 2 July to Sunday 27 July. We have six players in the England squad trying to defend their title, with several other European nations expected to select Blues.
You can see all of the Chelsea players called up for Women's Euro 2025 here.
UEFA Champions League draw
The Blues secured qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League league phase with our final-day victory over Nottingham Forest.
We will discover our eight league phase opponents when the draw is made on Thursday 28 August. Matchday one is between 16 and 18 September.
Premier League dates
The next Premier League campaign will begin on Saturday 16 August and comes to a close with the final round of fixtures on Sunday 23 May 2026.
Burnley, Leeds United and Sunderland are the new teams to look out for, after earning promotion from the Championship, replacing relegated trio Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Southampton.
UEFA Women's Champions League draw
Chelsea Women have longer to wait to learn their opponents in European competition, having booked a place in the new league phase of the Women's Champions League. The draw for that round of the competition takes place on Friday 19 September.
