Xabi Alonso makes an alteration in defence, with Pep Chavarria coming in for Josh Acheampong, who is not in today’s squad. Marco Palestra is expected to switch to the right after playing left-back last weekend.

The other change sees Jordan Henderson return to the starting XI. Estevao Willian makes way, with Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo also selected.

Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Pedro Neto are the three attackers selected. Mike Penders continues in goal, with Emi Martinez not in the squad.

Aaron Anselmino is on the bench for the first time this season.
