Following over six months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, N'Golo Kante took part in his first full training session this week while Edouard Mendy has also been working on the pitches at Cobham.
Kante last played for the Blues in our draw with Tottenham in August and despite nearing a return in the winter months, his spell in the treatment room has been prolonged due to surgery.
'N’Golo had his first full training session today but obviously still needs time,' Graham Potter said at his Friday press conference.
Mendy meanwhile was back out on the training pitch working individually away from the team as he ups his return from injury.
The goalkeeper underwent an operation on a fractured finger two months ago and is now in the latter stages of his rehabilitation programme.
Our head coach has reported that he is nearing a return. He said this at his press conference: 'Mendy’s making progress but he's not yet joined full training with the group.'
We have collected images here of them working at Cobham...
