Bashir Humphreys is handed a Chelsea debut for today’s FA Cup third round tie at Man City.
The 19-year-old defender is one of six fresh faces in Graham Potter’s side. Trevoh Chalobah and Lewis Hall also come into the defence, with Jorginho returning in midfield to partner Mateo Kovacic.
With Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic not involved after picking up injuries early in Thursday’s league meeting between the teams, the attack also has a new look. Hakim Ziyech starts, as do Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount.
The bench includes new signings Benoit Badiashile and David Datro Fofana.
