There have been six additions to the Chelsea squad for our summer tour, with new recruits and familiar faces arriving in Hong Kong.

After a week in Sydney, which saw us play fixtures against Western Sydney Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, the Blues touched down in Asia last night for the second leg of our trip.

We will take on Serie A Juventus at Kai Tak Sports Park on Wednesday, with tickets still available for the fixture. Kick-off is scheduled for 7.30pm local time (12.30pm in the UK), and the contest can also be viewed live on CFC+.

Before training got underway under Xabi Alonso, a handful of players were welcomed to the team hotel.

Mike Penders, who was part of the Belgium squad at this summer's World Cup, and Gabriel Slonina have linked up with the Blues, joining fellow goalkeepers Robert Sanchez, Teddy Sharman-Lowe and Ted Curd.

Summer arrival Geovany Quenda has joined the group and, having had a short break after representing Portugal at the World Cup, Pedro Neto has arrived in Hong Kong.

Mykhailo Mudryk – free to return to football after his anti-doping proceedings were resolved – is back with the squad and will return to team training for the first time since December 2024.

And after completing a move from Brighton and Hove Albion, Danny Welbeck has joined his new team-mates to begin working under Alonso.
