Chelsea new signings - Summer 2026

Honest Anahor

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Italy international Honest Ahanor from Serie A side Atalanta, with the 18-year-old defender officially joining in 2027.

Valentin Barco

Versatile midfielder Barco arrived from Strasbourg, signing a contract until 2033. He has previous experience of English football with Brighton.

Pep Chavarria

The 29-year-old Spaniard joined Chelsea early in August following four seasons with Rayo Vallecano.

Jordan Henderson

The experienced England international joined the Blues in August after leaving Brentford, agreeing a two-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

Maxence Lacroix

Lacroix made the short journey from Crystal Palace to Chelsea towards the end of July, fresh from his involvement for France at the 2026 World Cup. Lacroix's deal lasts until 2032.

Emiliano Martinez

Chelsea managed to secure the services of one of the best goalkeepers in the world when they signed the 2022 World Cup winner from Aston Villa on a contract which will run until 2029.

Marco Palestra

The Italian international became our first signing of the summer when he joined on a permanent deal from Atalanta at the start of July. Palestra signed a contract through to 2033.

Geovany Quenda

The winger's move to Chelsea was first confirmed in March 2025, before officially completing his move from Sporting Lisbon this summer. The Portuguese teenager signed a contract until 2034.

Morgan Rogers

England international Morgan Rogers signed from Aston Villa in July 2026, penning a contract until 2033. He has played 22 times for the Three Lions, including at this summer's World Cup, and established himself as one of the top attacking talents in the Premier League.

Dastan Satpayev

Dastan Satpayev completed a transfer to Chelsea after his 18th birthday, having been a part of our pre-season tour in Australia and Asia. He subsequently joined Burnley on loan.

Danny Welbeck

Joining from Brighton and Hove Albion, where he had impressed in recent seasons, striker Welbeck became our fifth signing of the summer. His contract runs to 2028.

Harrison Bettoni

18-year-old Bettoni joined from Wigan Athletic on a contract until 2030. The attacking midfielder featured 27 times for the Latics last season, scoring four goals.

Alfie Osborne

Osborne, 18, joined from Hearts in Scotland and put pen to paper on a contract with the Blues until 2030.

Chelsea new contracts - Summer 2026

Toby Bell

Toby Bell signed his first professional contract. The goalkeeper made his Under-18 debut in November 2024 and has represented England throughout his development pathway.

Jesse Derry

The young winger commited his long-term future to Chelsea by signing a new contract until 2032, shortly before agreeing a loan switch to swap London for Lisbon in the 2026/27 season with a spell at Sporting.

Sol Gordon

Academy attacker Sol Gordon signed a new contract until 2029. Having joined Chelsea's development centre at Under-8 level, Gordon has progressed through the Academy ranks to become a regular for our Under-18s and has also featured for the Blues' Under-21s.

Jashayde Greenwood

Academy striker Jashayde Greenwood signed his first professional contract with the club following his 17th birthday and after a successful maiden campaign at Chelsea.

Ollie Harrison

Harrison, an Academy midfielder who established himself as a regular for our Under-21s last season as we lifted the Premier League 2 title, signed a new contract until 2029. He later joined Wimbledon on loan.

Charlie Holland

Our midfielder signed his first professional contract with the Blues following his 17th birthday. He has been with our Academy since Under-8s level.

Shumaira Mheuka

The 18-year-old striker signed a deal which will keep him at Chelsea until 2031, having made nine senior appearances for the club so far. He will spend this season on loan with Celtic.

Justin Osagie

Academy defender Osagie signed a new contract keeping him at the club until 2029. He established himself as an important member of our Under-21 side last season.

Joao Pedro

Ahead of the campaign starting, Joao Pedro signed a new contract with Chelsea until 2034. The Brazilian netted 20 goals in his debut season at the Bridge and was voted our Player of the Year.

Hudson Sands

Before joining Dulwich Hamlet on loan, Academy goalkeeper Sands signed a new three-year contract.

Dante Waite

After captaining Chelsea Under-18s to victory in the Under-18 Premier League national final in 2026, the centre-back signed his first professional contract with the Blues.

Chelsea loans - Summer 2026

Genesis Antwi

The 19-year-old Academy player embarked on his first loan in August 2026, joining Ligue 1 side Strasbourg for the forthcoming campaign.

Benoit Badiashile

The defender, who has played 71 times for the Blues, joined Napoli on loan for the season.

Axel Disasi

Disasi has joined fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace for this season, having spent the second half of last term with West Ham United.

Kiano Dyer

Dyer will spend this season on loan in League Two with Chesterfield. The 19-year-old midfielder made his senior Chelsea debut in our Conference League win over Almaty in December 2024.

Dario Essugo

The midfielder was another to join Strasbourg on loan for the 2026/27 season. Essugo helped us win the Club World Cup shortly after his arrival in the summer of 2025 before injuries hampered his maiden campaign.

Alejandro Garnacho

The Argentina international joined Aston Villa on loan for 2026/27 having scored eight goals in 43 appearances in his first season at Stamford Bridge.

Ollie Harrison

Academy midfielder Harrison signed for League One side AFC Wimbledon for the season, embarking on his maiden loan away from the Bridge.

Filip Jorgensen

The goalkeeper has moved to Strasbourg on loan for the season.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen

The 17-year-old winger departed on his maiden loan spell in the senior game, signing for Portsmouth ahead of the Championship season starting.

Max Merrick

Young goalkeeper Max Merrick embarked on his third loan away from the Bridge by joining Hartlepool United of the National League for the season. He has been in our first team matchday squad on 11 occasions in recent years.

Shumaira Mheuka

After signing a new five-year-contract, the 18-year-old striker made the move to Scottish champions Celtic for this season, where he will gain further experience to add to his nine senior appearances for the Blues so far.

Mykhailo Mudryk

The winger is heading on loan to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, where he will link up once again with his former Shakhtar Donetsk manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Ukraine international has made 73 appearances for the Blues and scored ten goals since joining from Shakhtar in January 2023.

Harrison Murray-Campbell

Chelsea Academy defender Murray-Campbell, who made his senior Blues debut against Shamrock Rovers in the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League, will spend the coming season gaining further experience of men's football with KV Kortrijk in the Belgian first division.

Dujuan Richards

The forward has joined League One side AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan. The Jamaica international is heading back out on loan after spending the second half of last season at Leicester City in the Championship.

Ishe Samuels-Smith

The defender has joined Notts County of League One for the 2026/27 campaign, following his loan spell with Swansea City last term.

Robert Sanchez

The goalkeeper has completed a season-long loan move to Serie A side Como. Sanchez has made 112 appearances for the Blues during his three years at the club, helping us win the Club World Cup and Conference League in the summer of 2025.

Hudson Sands

The young goalkeeper signed a new contract until 2029 and joined non-league side Dulwich Hamlet on a youth loan.

Mamadou Sarr

The defender will spend this season in Spain, after joining Real Sociedad on loan. He has made seven appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Strasbourg.

Dastan Satpayev

After completing his transfer to Chelsea, the Kazakh attacker moved to Burnley on loan for the season.

Reggie Walsh

Walsh, who played four games for our senior team in 2025 including as a 16-year-old, will spend the season on loan at Wigan Athletic in League One this season.

Caleb Wiley

The American has made a season-long loan move to Championship side Preston North End, having previously represented Watford on loan in that division.

Kaiden Wilson

Wilson embarked on his first loan in senior football in July 2026, joining newly-promoted League Two side Rochdale for the forthcoming campaign.

Chelsea departures - Summer 2026

Tosin Adarabioyo

The centre-back has completed a permanent transfer to Tottenham Hotspur. The 28-year-old made 70 appearances for the Blues following his signing on a free transfer from Fulham in July 2024.

Chris Atherton

The winger left for Ipswich Town after a season playing for our Academy sides.

Jeremiah Berkeley-Agyepong

The teenager came through the ranks at the Chelsea Academy from Under-8s level and featured for our Under-18s in pre-season. He has now joined Reading.

Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah completed a permanent transfer to Como in August, bringing his time as a Chelsea player to an end after nearly two decades with the Blues. He won four trophies, having established himself in our first team ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

Marc Cucurella

The Spaniard left for Real Madrid after four successful seasons at Stamford Bridge during which he won the Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League, as well as helping Spain triumph in the 2024 Euros.

Liam Delap

Delap departed for Nottingham Forest after 14 months with Chelsea. The striker played 41 times for the Blues, including six of our seven games during last summer's victorious FIFA Club World Cup campaign.

Enzo Fernandez

The midfielder has completed a permanent transfer to Premier League side Manchester City. The Argentine international made 170 appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge and struck 31 goals.

David Fofana

The Chelsea striker has joined Swiss club Servette on a permanent deal. Fofana signed for the Blues from Molde in January 2023, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists during his time at the Bridge and on loan.

Tyrique George

The winger made his loan move to Everton permanent this summer, departing Chelsea after progressing through our Academy and making 37 appearances for the senior team.

Marc Guiu

The striker has joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on a permanent deal. The 20-year-old joined from Barcelona in the summer of 2024 and scored eight goals in 29 appearances for the Blues.

Brodi Hughes

The versatile defender spent 13 years in our Academy having joined as an Under-8. He was released at the end of the 2025/26 season, which he spent on loan at AFC Wimbledon.

Nicolas Jackson

The Senegal striker completed a permanent transfer to fellow Premier League side Aston Villa. Jackson was part of the Chelsea squads that won the Conference League and Club World Cup, scoring against Real Betis in the final of the former.

Omari Kellyman

The attacking midfielder made a permanent move to France with Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, after spending last season on loan with Cardiff City, where he helped them earn promotion to the Championship.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan

The Academy forward completed a permanent move to Championship side West Bromwich Albion after impressing on loan at Peterborough last season. Morgan had returned to Chelsea, where he spent time in our Academy as a youngster, in February 2023.

Richard Olise

Olise also moved on after a decade with the club. Signed by Chelsea as an Under-9, Olise featured throughout the age groups in our Academy and was named in the first-team squad for our UEFA Conference League trip to Astana during the 2024/25 season.

Frankie Runham

Runham sealed a permanent switch to Ipswich Town having spent the second half of last season on loan with the Tractor Boys. The move brought the attacking midfielder's long association with Chelsea to an end.

Sam Rak-Sakyi

Rak-Sakyi made four first-team appearances, all in our triumphant Conference League campaign, having developed through our Academy. The midfield was released at the expiry of his contract.

Andrey Santos

The midfielder made 47 appearances for Chelsea and became a full Brazil international during his three years as a Blue. He has now completed a permanent transfer to Manchester United.

Jimi Tauriainen

The Finnish youth international's six-year spell at Chelsea ended this summer. He made his first-team debut in an FA Cup win over Leeds in March 2024, and also featured in the Premier League when he came on in a home victory against Tottenham.

Deivid Washington

The Brazilian forward has joined Strasbourg on a permanent transfer. The 21-year-old joined the Blues in August 2023 from Santos and made three first-team appearances during his debut campaign before returning to Santos on loan in February 2025.

Joseph Wheeler-Henry

The young defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Brentford, featuring mainly for their reserve side, and made that switch permanent over the summer.
