It is over a month until Premier League football returns to the Fulham Road but with the school summer holidays commencing, Stamford Bridge will be busy each day – as there is plenty here to see and do…
For anyone thinking of paying a visit in the next few weeks, here is a handy guide to what we have to offer by way of refreshments, entertainment, retail and somewhere to rest - and how to find out more.
Take a tour
Your chance to visit those parts of the Bridge fans do not normally see, our award-winning stadium tour experiences are the chance to sit where the players sit in the dressing room or where the coaches watch from in the dugout. Walk out the tunnel to the roar of the crowd, go pitchside, see the press room and much more – all with an expert live guide. There are unique photo opportunities too with London’s most complete collection of trophies, including the FIFA Club World Cup.
For the summer days, from Monday 20 July to Friday 28 August, tours run from 9.30am to 5pm and booking in advance is advisable.
Shop Chelsea
Our Megastore at Stamford Bridge is the best location in London for official Chelsea FC merchandise, from the new kit for the season ahead to our latest ranges of retro-themed leisurewear and a vast collection of branded gifts and souvenirs.
View the Shed Wall
While walking around Stamford Bridge there is a chance to learn about Chelsea legends.
Located on the southern-most boundary wall of the stadium site and the oldest significant structure at the Bridge, where once the vast, curved terrace of the Shed End began, a selection of the finest players to wear the Chelsea shirt are celebrated in words, statistics and images. Chelsea Women greats are the most recent additions. The Shed Wall is free to view.
A bite to eat and a drink
Stamford Bridge has two places to stop by and grab refreshment.
For many, Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill is a destination on its own, with 16 big screens to catch live sports action and a menu of British and international dishes.
The Tea Bar, named after a drinks outlet that was once part of the old Shed End terrace back in the day, is open weekdays this summer and serves light refreshments for takeaway or for a moment of sit-down relaxation, including iced drinks suitable for these hotter days!
Stay a little longer
For visits that extend beyond a day trip, the Stamford Bridge Hotel London, situated adjacent to the stadium itself, offers a unique experience for football fans and non-fans alike, and is a great base for exploring the whole of the city.
How to reach us
Fulham Broadway Station on the London Underground network is only a couple of pitch lengths away and bus routes from central London stop outside, meaning Stamford Bridge is easily accessible by public transport. For leisurely travel, there’s even a river boat pier in the neighbourhood.
